The Old School Homeschool has no administration. It consists of teachers, parents, and students. Tuition is negotiated between parents and teachers directly. Parent participation in teaching is encouraged. All levels of student participation are welcome. Students can take 1 class or 10, as they please. The Old School Homeschool also tutors.
Private schools are a fast-growing market. There will come a day when non-public schools will eclipse public schools.
Once upon a time, kids from Wyoming went to Boston for school. In the future, kids from Boston will go to Wyoming for school.
Once upon a time, public schools had good teachers. A parent could hand their kids off to teachers and know that their kids were in good hands.
That day is gone. If you want something done right, you have to do it yourself. In the future, parents will participate in teaching.
The Old School Homeschool is open to using any source of educational materials, as the parents choose.
Dr. Maron has written a set of free online textbooks that he uses in his teaching. There is also an arsenal of pop sci articles at jaymaron.com
